The building had a lobby with uneven levels and architectural barriers, as well as an existing floor slab that did not allow compliance with accessibility requirements.
Project outcome
The project focused on improving the accessibility of the main entrance through a new lobby design. A new composite slab was installed, the metal profiles were fireproofed, and the affected utilities were adapted. All the lobby finishes were renovated, including suspended ceilings, lighting, wall coverings, and flooring, while preserving the original mosaic for heritage reasons. The result is a fully accessible entrance and a lobby updated to meet current standards.
